This Privacy Policy explains how personal data is collected, used, and protected when you use the Niccolo mobile application (the “App”). Please read it together with our Terms of Service.

2. What Niccolo is

Niccolo is a personal strategic-advisor app. You describe a situation you are going through, and the App uses artificial intelligence to generate strategic advice framed around the concepts in The 48 Laws of Power. Your conversations are saved as “cases” so you can return to them.

To provide this service, the App necessarily processes the text (and, if you use dictation, the voice) you submit, because that content is what the advice is generated from.

3. What personal data we collect

a) Account data. When you create an account we collect:

• Your name (as you provide it)
• Your email address
• Your password — this is handled and stored in hashed form by our authentication provider (Supabase); we never see or store your password in plain text.
• A message-colour preference you may set, stored with your account.

b) Content you provide (“cases”). This includes:

• The messages you type or dictate describing your situations, questions, and follow-ups;
• The strategic advice the App generates for you (the “power maps”, laws, strategies, tactics, reversals, and on-demand details such as historical examples, quotes and fables).

This content is saved as your chat history and synced to your account so it is available across your devices.
